In Q2, Clarity officially added the green giant of the accounting world to our brilliant bow of partners. Clarity now integrates with Sage Accounting, alongside Xero and QuickBooks. We are so delighted to have the opportunity to work with Sage Accountants and, using the seamless integration between Sage Accounting and Clarity, empower them to help even more small businesses succeed.

Earlier in the year, we welcomed our Paul Dunn to #TeamClarity with open arms. Paul is the advocate-in-chief, or chief storyteller as it were, for our completely reimagined business advisory movement.

A New Story for your Firm

At Clarity, we believe that accounting is fundamentally about great storytelling. And we want to help you and your team deliver compelling, commercially focused narratives to your clients about their numbers. With Paul, we introduced a brand-new web event in Q3 called ‘A Story of Advisory’. And the results were stunning. It’s been a tough year for web-events. Safe to say every industry found it hard to keep it fresh on zoom or teams or whatever software you were using! #TeamClarity launched a brand new web series for accountants in practice, teaming up with some of the industry greats to create a brand new web event series that’s no-holds barred. Hard hitting frank conversations, with those that have been there, done it and worn the t shirt! 

Though we may say it ourselves. It was a brilliant series. We heard from Carl Reader (small business expert, head of accounting at Practice Ignition, chairman of TeamDT – d&t chartered accountants, best-selling author, social media supremo) Kelly Hurst (TikTok sensation and Senior Business Development Manager at Clarity® HQ) who discussed all things social media. 

Alastair Barlow shared some Practical insights, hints, tips, war stories and quick wins on the topic of Strategy……. what even is it and do you really need one for your firm?

We had a frank, open and honest conversations about outsourcing and offshoring Vipul Sheth, MD at AdvanceTrack Outsourcing, along with a brilliant client of theirs, Nikki Adams, Director at Ad Valorem Group. 

Pricing month

We tackled the wonderful world of pricing in a series of Full Disclosure events. Answering tricky questions such as; How do you ensure that you can really charge what you’re worth? How do you get the team to price consistently? Do you use menu, fixed, value or 3 tier pricing and when? How do you get the client to say yes? How do you deal with scope creep? We called in favours with pricing experts to help us answer these questions for the #ClarityCommunity. Thank you Mark Wickersham , Ron Baker,  Jody Padar, and James Ashford.
